Meet your nutrition coach, Sahara.

Sahara Coleman is a Precision Nutrition certified coach and ACE certified personal trainer. She has a deep love for all things movement related and enjoys helping people bring more energy into their lives via nutrition. Here is her story in her own words:

“My story is one that many can likely relate to - I was someone who constantly struggled with both my fitness and body composition. I tried every quick diet and workout fad that existed. Because they had so many “rules”, I found myself unable to stick to the prescribed plan and would go overboard on the weekends with what I consumed. It felt like a cycle I couldn’t break.

Sahara Coleman, PN1

In 2016 I was at my heaviest and was extremely sedentary. My husband asked me to walk from our apartment to a nearby lake. I immediately panicked and said “no”, knowing that my clothes would feel uncomfortable to walk in and that I would be in a lot of pain by the time we arrived. I was 26 years old. This moment was a wake up call - I knew I never wanted to feel that way again. I could not accept the reality that this would be how I would live the rest of my life.

This pushed me to take a different approach. I was exhausted by trendy diets and how much of a failure they made me feel like. So I got one-on-one help from a nutrition coach and a personal trainer. I was patient and I set realistic goals. I learned to view setbacks as opportunities to grow and improve, not as failures. With this professional help and a shift in mindset, I successfully lost around 45 pounds and was able to keep it off - but, most importantly, I realized the work and improvement in my daily habits is what drove my longterm success.

That’s what brought me here today. I’m here to pay it forward by helping you build a sustainable lifestyle that works for you - not another fad you need to escape from on the weekends. While our experiences are unique, I’ve been in your shoes and can empathize. I always strive to create a judgement free zone. This is your life, and I’m here to support you in it.
